One of the many great things about Nintendo consoles over the years has been the vast number of family friendly titles available. The Nintendo Switch is no different. Its huge range of titles and versatility (allowing you to 'switch' from handheld to TV mode in a matter of seconds) make it the perfect console for family titles.

Super Mario Party

This is great family party game, I mean 'party' is in the name so you'd expect that; but it really is a great party addition. The game is made up of mini-games where players must compete to be the winner of a board game - progress is made by completely the mini-games & challenges. Super Mario Party really does live up to the party name.

Mario Kart Deluxe 8

Mario Kart games are very much ingrained in the very fibre of the Nintendo brand; with good reason, they have tended to be great. Mario Kart Deluxe 8 is no different and is without question one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch (not just as a family game). However, the fact that it is so good does mean it makes our list of the best family games for Nintendo Switch.

Pokemon: Let's Go (Pikachu/Eevee)

Here's one of my personal favourites; that may just be because I spent hours of my childhood playing the original Pokemon Leaf Green/Fire Red (and this game is essentially the same story) or it might just be because these games are great game! Either way, if Pokemon is your thing, this is a great game for all ages, it allows you to battle your family members, or work together to collect more Pokemon. The two versions Pikachu & Eevee follow the same base storyline, however you get the specified Pokemon as your main companion in each.
