New Dualsense controller colours and Playstation official console covers unveiled

So Playstation have finally done it and are releasing their own collection of console covers for the PS5. They were revealed today officially on the Playstation Blog and are set to be launched in early 2022 here in the UK alongside a lot of other locations. 

These colourways are being referred to as the Galaxy Collection. The Midnight Black and Cosmic Red Dualsense controllers we saw earlier this year were also part of this same collection and will be getting console covers alongside the new colourways we’ve not previously seen.

New PS5 DualSense wireless controller and console cover colours

The new colourways are called: Nova Pink, Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple. All these colourways are one tone but very vibrant and definitely stand out, they’re sure to excite those of you that want to move away from the default white look of the standard PS5. Alongside these newly releasing faceplates will be a matching DualSense wireless controller releasing in early 2022 as well. It seems that these are going to be available first from PlayStation direct and will be available from other retailers at a certain date. 

How much will the new PS5 DualSense wireless controller and console colours cost?

We’re going to assume that the retail price of the controller will be £64.99 as was the case when the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red Dualsense controllers were released. However, in regards to the price of the PS5 console covers we’re unsure what the cost is going to be. It seems that for the console covers the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red variants will be released first then the other colourways will soon after.
