Us Pokémon fans have been quite spoiled lately with the Gen 4 remakes and Pokémon Legends Arceus released not too long ago and lucky for us Game Freak seems to be showing no signs of slowing down following the unveiling of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The 9th generation of Pokémon is set to release on the 18th of November 2022 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
This new set of titles is looking to take influence from the open-world aspects we saw in Pokémon Legends: Arceus which means we will be finding and battling our favourite Pokémon out in the wild; which aids in creating a living and breathing environment for you to get immersed in. One of the most exciting parts of a new Pokémon generation is seeing the new starters and I think picking a favourite of these 3 is going to be tough! We have the Fire-type crocodile Feucoco, the Grass-type cat Sprigatito and last but not least the Water-type duck Quaxly. We have only seen their 1st evolution forms so far but we're very excited to see what these cute little guys become and hopefully we will see some awesome type combinations.

Pokémon Scarlet's exclusive Legendary is Koraidon, a reptile-inspired Pokémon with a striking scarlet colouration accented with contrasting blues and whites; we're unsure of his typing yet but his design is most certainly worthy of the legendary status.
