We just explored what new titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass in September, but Sony are hot on their competitor’s heels with new games of their own.
PlayStation Plus now includes a multitude of games that can be accessed on demand depending on your subscription level. Think of it as their own attempt at Game Pass.

So what does September have in store for PlayStation Plus Subscribers? Let’s find out.

PlayStation Plus Essential Games September 2022:

Free to download and keep (so long as you have an active PlayStation Plus Subscription), these games are what we’ve come to expect from Sony’s service after all these years. You can download these games from September 6th.

Need for Speed Heat | PS4

The main meat of the PlayStation Plus subscription is the all-new games catalogue. This month there are some shocking and pleasant additions. No matter what kind of gamer you are, you’ll have plenty to play this September. These games are all available to play from September 20th.

Deathloop | PS5

A surprising game to add to the PlayStation Plus catalogue, Deathloop will be playable on demand for all Extra and Premium subscribers from September 20th. While most people expected Deathloop to be added to Game Pass soon, Sony instead have somehow managed to snap it up for their own digital collection. In Deathloop you’ll be assassinating, dying, and trying all over again on the PS5.
