Because you can never have too many games to play, this weekend Xbox is rolling out a major event that will see several titles free to play for a limited time. It’s called ‘Xbox Big Gaming Weekend’ and is very similar to ‘Xbox Play Days’, with the major difference being that the games featured all place a huge emphasis on online multiplayer.
So what games will you be able to check out? Between now until Monday August 10th everyone will have free access to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer, Borderlands 3, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Black Desert on their Xbox One console. On both home console and PC, meanwhile, Gears 5, Subnautica and Ark: Survival Evolved all will have their multiplayer portions free to try this weekend. The full list is as follows:
It’s worth reiterating that no Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass subscription is required to take part, meaning that anyone can give these titles a download and get a taste.
