One of the biggest selling points of the DualSense Edge controller is its quite staggering ability to be customised. You can alter stick caps, remap inputs and even tune your stick sensitivity and dead zones to make sure you're aim is on point. You can even alter the travel distance required for an input on your triggers which is very impressive considering these have the adaptive triggers we first saw on the DualSense PS5 controller. Furthermore, you can set up separate profiles for all these controls that can easily be swapped between so you can customise for different games or genres.
The DualSense Edge controller also has two back buttons which can be remapped to different inputs. Sometimes in games, it is actually most effective to use a claw grip however if you've never done this before it's very difficult to learn. With the addition of mappable back buttons you can easily change these to other inputs and comfortably press inputs without having to move around the controller too much! You can also increase the longevity of your DualSense controller by replacing your stick modules; this is a controller that should last a very long time, as it should at it's rather high price point!
When you buy a PS5 DualSense Edge Controller you do not only receive the controller but also all of the accessories that allow you to customise your controller alongside some quality-of-life products. Inside the DualSense Edge controller box are the following contents:
