Currys is running multiple offers on the Xbox Series X right now and when combined they help to make the Xbox Series X more affordable.

The first offer allows you to trade in a previous generation console to save you £60, the second offer helps with that initial payment hit by allowing you to pay the full balance interest-free up to 12 months after the purchase date. Find out more below.

Xbox Series X Trade-in offer

If you have an old PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch lying around this trade-in offer is ideal.  Regardless of the console type, you can select a £60 discount when purchasing the Xbox Series X.  The console you're trading in must be in working condition and a part of the trade-in range.

Simply visit Currys trade-in service page, select your console and then choose the Xbox trade-in offer on the estimated trade-in page.

An example below shows an Xbox One which would usually get you £23 for trade-in will now knock £60 off the Series X:

Once you've managed to grab the £60 discount you can then apply this to Currys interest-free offer...

Xbox Series X interest-free finance option

Sometimes paying in a lump sum can be difficult, especially due to how expensive these newer consoles are.  Interest-free financing options are a very convenient way to jump into the world of next-gen gaming without that initial payment sting.

Currys allows you to spread the cost of purchasing an Xbox Series X across 12 months (entirely interest-free) as long as you pay within that allotted period. If you fail to pay within that period you will accrue interest at a 29.9% APR representative (variable) rate.

Combining these options allows you to save a tidy sum,  we put together an example package plan below...

Xbox Series X Console Cost (with Trade-In discount applied): £419.00

11 Monthly payments of £35 and a final payment of £34 would cover the total cost, not a bad way to ease your way into next-gen gaming!
