The Nintendo eShop Black Friday sale has started and as usual, there are a ton of deals to be had!

As expected, a number of the "classic" Nintendo Switch games have been discounted, including Metroid Dread, Super Mario Odyssey, Doom Eternal and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.  Surprisingly, there are a number of discounts we didn't expect.  FIFA 23 which is less than 2 months has dropped to just £20.99, No Man's Sky is down to £31.99 and Persona 5 Royal is £38.49.

There are over 1,500 games discounted in the sale, so take your time and find the right deal for you.

Also, from now until the end of January any Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members will receive double Gold Points (10% off the purchase price) on all purchases of games, and downloadable content.  I'm considering giving the Mega Drive emulator a blast and this might twist my arm!

The best Prime Day consoles deals are at Very, not Amazon

It's day two of Amazon Prime Day, and while there have been good deals on games and accessories, Amazon hasn't had a lot of great deals on consoles this year. Very, on the other hand, has some excellent deals on the Nintendo Switch and PS5 Slim consoles, so if you've been saving up ready to grab a discounted console you're better off checking out Very instead.
