The next entry to the handheld console market is the MSI Claw A1M, a beast of a device with some serious specs. The MSI Claw is releasing today on the 20th of March 2024 and UK retailer Currys has it exclusively for 3 months. Currys will deliver on or free and also offer a 12-month interest-free payment plan if you’d rather spread your cost.

The MSI Claw A1M has two models which are a 512GB model and a 1TB model with the latter also having a slightly more powerful processor. The 512GB model comes in at £699 whilst the 1TB model is £799.

  • The display is a 7-inch IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate
  • New Intel powered CPUs take advantage of Intel Arc Graphics to provide great fidelity alongside high framerates.
  • Also uses Intel XeSS upscaling on supported games to enhance performance
  • Has a fingerprint scanner to access the device.
  • Supports WiFi 7
  • Can be connected to a screen or high speed SSD thanks to it’s Thunderbolt 4 port
  • 512GB of built in storage or 1TB depending on model that can also be expanded on with a MicroSD Card.
