The Playstation 5 may have (and still is proving to be incredibly difficult for some people to get their hands on). However, if you have managed to get one - it's now time to get yourself sorted with the best PS5 controllers to take your gaming to the next level.

We have scoured the web to find you the best PS5 controllers on the market, from many of the leading brands and retailers.

Here's our current list;

Razer Raiju Tournament Edition

For anyone interested in gaming, the name Razer will likely be a familiar. Known for some incredibly high-performance gaming PCs and accessories, their Raiju PS5 compatible controller is one of the best accessories in their collection.

The controller has some great features, like anti-slip protection on the joysticks and interchangeable thumb-sticks. However, the best aspect of this controller is probably the software that Razer has created for it (available via mobile app) allows users to program 4 multi-function buttons allowing you to configure the actions to your taste as well as fine-tine the responses. Another cool feature is a 'hair-trigger' mode which has been specifically designed for FPS games and reduces switch travel distance for faster response when firing.

Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro

This controller is unique in that it supports both wired and wireless connections, meaning you can decide which suits you, if you find one more reliable for those intense battle royale matches.

Despite originally being released on the PS4 this controller is compatible with the Playstation 5 and still stands as one of the better options on the market.

It also really stands out for it's thumbstick customisation options, both in terms of configuration of the amplitude (so you can tailor this to your liking) and the physical feel of the thumbsticks with interchangeable heads.

Finally, similar to the Razer Raiju you can adjust the button mappings to set specific actions, and this also includes setting up different profiles, meaning you can create new ones for playing specific games.

As usual with Nacon the controller's overall design is high-quality and feels comfortable in the hands and thats why the Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro makes our list of the best PS5 controllers.

Victrix Pro FS Arcade Fight Stick

Theres alot of debate to be had about the best way to play fighting games. Many die-hard fans of the genre would insist that the ONLY way to play them is on an old-school, fight stick controller. Enter the Victrix Pro FS Arcade Fight Stick.

How can you not like this? It looks badass, the matte black finish with the black buttons give it a really slick vibe whilst keeping that retro feel of the old-school arcade controllers.

Thrustmaster T248

If racing games are you thing (Gran Turismo 7 is out Friday!), getting yourself a realistic wheel and pedal set will take your whole gaming experience to another level.

The wheel features genuine leather wrapping on the grip areas, a built-in screen which has more than 20 different display options and 25 action buttons (which can be programmed by the user - if desired).

It allows you to adjust the things such as the force feedback, the wheels rotation sensitivity and telementry (changing gear ratios, RPM etc). The pedals are equally configurable with users able to adjust pedal stiffness and pressure for a smoother driving experience.

If you are after a driving wheel and pedal set for the PS5 you can't get anything better than the Thrustmaster T248!

Scuf Reflex Pro

The fact that a Scuf controller makes our list is probably very un-surprising to anyone familiar with the brand: they make exceptional controllers.

The main selling point for this one? It's made by Scuf and that means a huge amount of customisation. Out of the box this controller is great, featuring adaptive triggers, coating on the grips to improve performance during gameplay and textured thumbsticks.

That's only the start though, the controller comes with interchangeable thumbsticks and removable, re-mappable rear paddle buttons (4 of them). The whole thing can be configured as you want and enables you to save 3 different profile settings to save and switch between for whatever game you are playing.

Another feature we like is that unlike other controllers the Scuf Reflex Pro is available in a variety of colours meaning you can get it looking as unique as you want it.

Dualsense Controller

Sometimes the most familiar things are the best. The PS5 dualsense controller is Sony's dedicated controller for the PS5 - meaning it's perfect for the latest consoles capabilities.

It's design isn't far off that of the PS4 and as such makes for a comfortable adjustment for gamers moving from the PS4 to the PS5

It features upgraded and improved haptic feedback and adaptive triggers (which adjust to simulate a more accurate representation of the in-game situation - for example, pulling the trigger while running around with a shotgun will feel somewhat different to using a pistol).

Its also just released new colour ways (2022), with Nova Pink, Galactic Purple and Starlight Blue.
