Sony recognised this, having released a wide range of attractive DualShock 4 colour variants over the years to make the PS4 play experience more personable. A lot of these were only on sale for a brief amount of time, though, which might be why many will be returning to store shelves the world over later this month.
Berry Blue, Rose Gold and Red Camouflage are just some of the classic DualShock 4 controller colours set to make a return in late August, serving as one last ‘hoorah’ for the DualShock generation before the PS5 DualSense controller’s inevitable arrival. Why buy a new DualShock 4 now? Well, in addition to just being a great way to play your PS4, Sony has recently stated that they will work on the forthcoming PS5 but only with PS4 games. PS5 games can only be exclusively played on the new DualSense controller, yet anyone wanting to dip into the PS4 back catalogue until the true roster of PS5 blockbuster hits arrive can do so with the Dualshock 4.
