The Call of Duty licence has been good chums with PlayStation this generation, with dedicated hardware bundles featuring the game remaining exclusive to PS4 for previous entries Black Ops IIII, Infinite Warfare and WWII. This trend looks to be very much continuing with the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare later this month, as evidenced by two new PS4 console bundles that have just been recently listed on UK sites.
So, what do the two Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PS4 console bundles entail? Pretty much what you’d expect. The first bundle option gifts players with a standard Jet Black 500GB PS4 Slim and a copy of the game for £249.99, while the second bundle features a Jet Black PS4 Pro with 1TB of storage and a copy of Modern Warfare for £349.99.
Essentially, they get the job done. No more, no less. And while it would have been nice to get a sexy new limited edition piece of hardware inspired by the series, not doing this is probably a wise move given that PS5 is releasing imminently. Still, for those in need of an upgrade, both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PS4 bundles are a good route to getting the game for free.
