FIFA 22 is coming to the following platforms: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and the PC. It is important to note that the new HyperMotion technology that is supposed to give this rendition of FIFA a much more realistic gameplay style is exclusive to the next-gen consoles: the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. This year's FIFA is slightly different when it comes to editions where there are now just two: FIFA 22 Standard Edition and FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition (excluding Nintendo Switch which has it's own Legacy Edition). The standard edition can be bought both physically and digitally and will include a few pre-order bonuses that will be outlined below. Furthermore, the standard edition will not feature dual entitlement meaning that if you buy on PS4 you will have to pay to upgrade to play on PS5. The Ultimate Edition of FIFA 22 is exclusively purchased digitally and has many more pre-order bonuses including the ability to start playing today on the 27th of September and also dual-entitlement. If you're eager to play right away and also a big fan of Ultimate Team then the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition seems like the way to go.
