Update: Just after this post went live, Sony confirmed that there will be two special Battlefront II bundles arriving. One features the same bundle outlined below, but with a custom PS4 Pro featuring Star Wars decals. The second will come with a standard slim PS4 with a 1TB memory, with the same decal design, and the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition of the game.
Original post: Undoubtedly one of this year's most eagerly awaited games is the reboot of Star Wars Battlefront II for the Xbox One and PS4. Released on November 17th, the game is certain to be one of the holiday period's big sellers, as players will clamour to see just how close EA has come to recreating the legendary Star Wars universe through one of the series' most beloved gaming IPs.
With Star Wars being the cultural behemoth that it is, it's of little surprise that multiple different editions of Battlefront II are being released. What is unexpected, however, is that Sony are launching a limited edition PS4 Pro to coincide with the game's launch. The bundle had previously been created as part of a giveaway run in April, but at the time there was no word that the bundle would be available to buy.

However, today it appears that we may have confirmation. Online retailer Coolshop have put a product page live, advertising the special bundle as available to pre-order for a price of £449.99. This is a fair tick above the £340-mark that the Pro now typically retails for by itself, with the premium coming from the Deluxe Edition of Battlefront II and the limited edition nature of the console.
Although details are currently thin on the ground, we believe the bundle will contain:
Based on the limited images we've seen, it appears that this is the classic all-black PS4 Pro and controller, rather than one with a special design, such as with the Destiny 2 bundle.
The giveaway versions of the bundle included the original game, so there's a good chance that this one will too.

Regarding new controller colourways and having options, Microsoft is killing it. As a result, we thought you might want to see a round-up of every single controller released since the Xbox Series X and S hit shelves back in November 2020.
